dc.description.abstract Motivation can be defined as the direction and intensity of human effort. Direction of force represents the situations when a person seeks or creates special conditions, or certain conditions attract him. The intensity of effort - characterizes the effort degree of a person implied in a particular situation. Problem: the lack of a clear definition for motivation: a confusing definition of motivation; the researcher does not always know how to interact with athletes; therefore, there is no understanding between them. Different understanding of the motivation - there are different types of motivation: intrinsic and extrinsic, motivation made in the form of competitive stress. It may be mentioned that the knowledge of the motivational sphere of a person allows the specific training of an athlete in order to achieve high results. Therefore, the practical application of the sports activities principles represents the fund, through which we can make a qualitative leap in athletes training. ru_RU
