This article presents the methodological aspect of didactic design for the physical education discipline according to the provisions of the disciplinary curriculum, 2019. Based on the concept of the national curriculum of the discipline, conceptual landmarks, new guidelines, specific aspects of the contents "Gymnastics" in the discipline of physical education for students in the gymnasium cycle according to the benchmarks presented in the guide for implementing the disciplinary curriculum
